On April 20th, I was honored to be named Miss Wheelchair Arkansas 2016! I was a little hesitant to enter the pageant, but I felt it was such a great opportunity to reach out to others and share my message. I am so excited to represent the state of Arkansas on a national level. If I can build self-esteem in just ONE person, I have achieved my goal.
I will compete for the national title, Miss Wheelchair America, in Michigan this August. A week long event, this pageant is sure to be a once in a life time experience! I can't do this without YOU!
As you can imagine, costs for this type of event can add up quickly. This Go FundMe account will help send me to and from Michigan for pageant week. It will provide funding for wardrobe, hair, make up and accessories, travel expenses, lodging, meals, materials to be used for my state display board and various other expenses for the week. The largest and earliest due expenses are flight and lodging. As soon as I have enough raised for these two areas, I will book them! One step close to ensuring I'm there to represent our great state!
I also want to say, I welcome any sponsorship opportunites for wardrobe and accessories! I will be more than happy to list your business as sponsor in all photos and social media posts featuring your pieces!!
