Our goal is to offer a breath of fresh air to families dealing with the wrecking ball of cancer. It is a chance for them to feel “normal” for even just a minute. Because it is cash they can choose to how it will best help them.
For example: dealing with the mountain of bills that come, even with good insurance. Gas money, food, babysitters so no appointments are missed. Family movie night, A trip out. The list is long....
What started as one team in Seattle turned into 7 teams in Canada and the US, turned into 22 Teams last year raising a combined $145,000.00 for families dealing with cancer. This year Ithaca joined 24 Monster and Sea to raise money for local families battling cancer. If you want to join us by helping fundraise, or come paddling with us on April 14, 15th here in Ithaca. 8:00am to 8:00am! 24 Hours.
