Funeral Expenses for Merral Stowe

Donation protected
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Sadly I informed you that I received word this morning as I sat in the Rectory at St. Maurice at Resurrection Parish preparing to begin a meeting with Fr. Rogers; that my son was killed in Las Vegas last night.

Merral E. L. Stowe; was born in Roseau, Commonwealth Of Dominica, West Indies on October 3rd, 1988 to Merlyn "Mayfair" Beaugouneau Archibald and F. Albert Stowe. He is my eldest child, and lived with me briefly in New York before he joined his mother Mayfair in St. Thomas at approximately age Five.
Merral relocated with his mother and stepfather to Miami and spent his entire teenage life here in the on the main'land, until the family returned to the US Virgin Islands a few years ago. About a year and a half ago, Merral and his Fiancé embarked on a new adventure to begin a life in the US, and settled in Las Vegas, where he they worked and had their first child. When he lost his employment Niurika and Merral decided that he would stay home with their baby as she worked to maintain their family. Merral has always been a very ambitious young lad. A chap who considered joining the United States Armed Forces - (The Army), because he told me, he warned to serve, and gain the best life lessons one can find, with the best group of men he knew......He wanted to follow in his uncle and aunts' foot'steps. As we all do from time to time, he changed course, and begun normal civilian life. I had great moments with Merral. Watching him grow was a marvel, he was brilliant, friendly and motivated. He was always ready to lend a hand. I was not at all surprised this morning, when his fiancé told me that he was the best father she had ever known. My son would always challenge me on a variety of subjects, flashing his take on current affairs right at me, as if to test my level and upkeep with the latest happenings - I admired that in him, as well as his love for others, pure strangers, friend, and most of all, family. He was not much of a sports enthusiasts; however, he played football in school, and loved the game.

Our hearts are filled with pain and sorrow. We mourn loss of our son, brother, our friend. And as I always said to Mayfair, "That's your Baby".....she would return the comment to me saying, "no he is your son; he stubborn and good'looking like you"........ He loved his mama as much as she loved him. He'd pour His heart out to her...... That's the character of a person Merral was...... Merrals' brothers and sisters meant the world to him; they were at the core of his heart.

God has a plan.... He has chosen Merral at this time.....And only he knows why. He knows the second, the minute, the hour, the day. We answer when he calls.
So as we mourn, we ask for your prayers, your comfort, your support.

At this time we have limited information. Merlyn and I are in the process of making Arrangements.

As soon as information is developed, I will furnish you.
