Laura’s fight against Leukemia
Donation protected
Laura was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in December of 2017. After a long hard fought battle she achieved remission in August. We just recently found out that it has returned in her spinal fluid and brain. Her chemo now has to be given directly into her spinal column every week at Vanderbilt Medical University Hospital for the foreseeable future. She also has to be admitted to hospital for 3 days once a month for her bone marrow maintenance chemotherapy
The trip to get there and back each week is around 300 miles and we're trying to raise funds for gas, car maintenance food and some of her prescribed medicines that her insurance won't cover.
Laura is my wife. The mother of our four children, and the love of my life. She is the kindest sweetest person I've ever known and she also has the spirit of a warrior. She fighting with everything she has to beat this disease back and I know in my heart she will prevail. She's determined to see our children grow up.
Thank you for any support you may have to offer. You will never know just how much your thoughts, prayers, and kind words, and support means to us.
