Mrs. Canon City 2017
My name is Cassandra Mueller, I am so excited to share some exciting news with all of you. I am pleased to announce that I have been selected to represent the town of Canon City at the Mrs. Colorado America Pageant in 2017. As the Title Mrs. Canon City. This is a major event and as you can imagine, I’m very excited! This pageant has always been a dream come true for me ever since I was a little girl growing up with a hearing loss has been a struggle for me. I have been through a lot throughout my life as a little girl and growing up in school. I wore hearing aids all my life and got a cochlear implant which I recently got implanted 3 years ago. If it wasn’t for me going through my hard times with a disability with having a hearing loss I wouldn’t be where I am at today. My struggles have gotten me where I needed to be and my faith, and confidence has made my dream come true. I love to help my community and be involved with my church by donating blood at the blood drive, be a guess buddy for prom the night to shine event Tim Tebow foundation for the disability adults who never get to go to prom, Orchard of Hope, Trunk or Treat for Department of Corrections passing out candy for children’s for Halloween, Volunteering as an American Sign Language Interpature for a preschool down syndrome student and children who were hard of hearing, and an older lady who was deaf and blind living in a nursing home who I adore, I have a passion for kids I am currently a Preschool Teacher Assistance and love to see them smile :)
I have grew up in Canon City all my life Canon City is my Home town the mountains are beautiful the outdoors are beautiful. I love to fish, hunt, and camp and enjoy time with my family. I have been married for 9 years and have a son who is 7 years old. I am honored to represent my title as Mrs. Canon City and I want everyone to know who I am. This has been a dream come true for me. Beauty comes from with in the inside. Struggling with a disability is hard if I can do this anyone can do this you just have to set you mind and heart to it. I need my community to come in together and help each together as a team and we can win this and so can I. I would appreciate your love and support.
