Hawkins Family- Colton's recovery

On Friday September 18th, the lives of the Hawkin's Family, were dramatically changed, and sent into a whirlwind of emotions, not only for this young family but also for the entire community that surrounds them.   Their young son 8 year old Colton, was unfortunately involved in a farming accident, in which he ultimately ended up losing his right leg just under his knee.  For anyone who knows this family, they are extremely active and involved in the area of St. Marys and surroundings, with 4 children and hockey and cows and farming. 

To quote his mother
"Colton is a little trouper, tough as nails, fighter to the finish, We have a long road ahead of us, but I have faith he can do it"

And anyone who knows Colton, knows just how strong willed and feisty and determined he is, and can and will preservere through this all.

In speaking to so many wanting to do something for the Hawkins, we have created this GO FUND ME campaign for those wanting to add support to this family at this difficult time.  Moneys raised can go to support the expenses, of gas and parking at the hospital, therapy and any other related matters following Colton's accident.  Please feel free to share and join together to show our love and support for the long road ahead, btw, the Hawkin's family has no idea this is in the works.

I am sure they would never expect this however we are hopeful they will accept this as support and encouragement from those family, friends, neighbours and caring community that surrounds them at this time.
