Richard Martin House Fire Dayton OH
Donation protected
On December 15th, 2014, at 5 in the morning, my smoke detectors went off and smoke was billowing out of my air vents. I rescued two of my cats and the firemen rescued two more but I lost almost everything. The house I'd lived in for 40 years, some other of my pets, my library of books and films (much of it autographed), family photos, etc.
I am a paralegal by trade but since I had only found part time work, I could not afford to pay my house insurance. Now, I am stayting with a friend and helping his mother out.
I am seeking help to not only clear out the wreckage of my once beautiful home but also to rebuild.
The two cats that were rescued by me have found homes and the two cats who were rescued by the fire fighters are staying with friends. I can't have any pets at the appartment that I am staying at and I really would like to be re-united with my two surviving cats in a place I can call my own.
