Mover Shaker Van Repair

We are currently in Denver on day 45 of our tour with Mom Jeans. After overheating yesterday, a mechanic in Kansas told us it was safe to continue as far as Denver, but the dealership here has told us we won’t be able to continue without replacing our transmission. Due to the nature of OEM parts for our specific car being particularly expensive, we have been quoted $3950 before tax for the transmission replacement job at a Chevrolet dealership in Englewood, Colorado. Unable to come up with the funds ourselves, we are asking for help raising the approximately $4000 for the transmission replacement job and $800 to recoup losses that we will incur from missing dates on our tour including missing merch sales and emergency lodging while waiting for the job to be done. We are attempting to repair the car in time to make our show at Kilby Court in Salt Lake City on the 10th and the remainder of our dates on the way home. We will be posting updates as the job is completed with receipts from the repair.
