Trisha unfortunately hit a tree straight on while she fell sleeping at the wheel. The car then flipped over and went up in flames. If it wasn’t for Craig Yeager being close to the accident, he himself admits that Trisha wouldn’t have made it out alive. Trisha had been working nights trying to save up money to pay off all her credit card debt over the summer in preparations of starting the Southwest Michigan College Medical Assistant Clinicals she’s been accepted into this fall. She has college tuition she needs to pay for, laptop and now she just her car ion the crash unfortunately. She has honestly waited this long to go to college because she wanted to make sure her children were well taken care of by her before hand and this way they also went to school the same time so they’d be off the same time. She is a wonderful mother and I definitely can’t deny that. She happened to endure a lot of child abuse growing up from her stepmother so she swore to herself that her children would never be exposed to a life such as that.
My beautiful wife and mother of three happens to be the glue that holds this entire family together. Of course that never dawned on me until her absence at home this week and I got the privileges of taking care of everything at home alone. So many friends lately have been coming to my rescue! A high school classmates/wife’s bestfriends father Louie managed to get my shortages in a part of my house fixed I haven’t been able to since we moved in (November). My wife’s other best friend/hairstylist Nicky has watched our children for me while I visited with Trisha which having a babysitter has been a blessing!
But so far from the crash, trisha has burned up both the bottoms and tops of her feet, she has burned her buttocks, broke her right ankle, broke the center of her right hand leaving that in a cast. She’s had to have 4 blood transfusions. She has a large hematoma in the left side of her stomach. She also badly bruised and lacerated her liver causing a lot of bruising rand internal bleeding. On Monday she has had grafting done to place skin on her feet. So she had been stuck in bed since 07/16/2018. She has not been allowed to place any weight on her feet nor her right hand. She has had to rely on everyone else and if anyone knows Trisha as well as I do then you’d completely understand how much this driving her insane.
