Mother’s Day Homicide Victims

Thank you for clicking onto this fund. Any piece of support is greatly appreciated at this time, as my family mourns for the loss of 3 of our family members.

As many of you may have read or seen on multiple news outlets:

“The shooting happened at 10:18 p.m. at the Sierra Vista Homes complex near 11th and Belleview streets. Someone outside fired several shots into a home, hitting those five people, including the mother, father and little girl, according to investigators. The father died at the scene, while the mother and girl died at a hospital, police said.” (KCRA)

We lost my brother Joe Lor (22 y.o.), sister-in-law Gina Xiong (22 y.o.) and niece Kayleen B. Lor (5 y.o.) from a senseless act of violence as they were celebrating Mother’s Day!

As you keep them in your prayers, send us your condolences, or choose to help donate funds, please remember the life they lived, though it was cut so short.

Joe was born and raised in Stockton, Ca. He attended Elmwood Elementary and graduated with his High School Diploma from Franklin High (Class of 2013). He choose to go straight into the workforce after high school. Joe was always outspoken, driven, curious, a natural leader and had a hobby for cars. He provided for his little family as well as he could. Joe was a loving father, husband, son, brother and friend.

Gina was born and raised in Stockton, Ca. She attended Van Buren Elementary before attending Franklin High (Class of 2014) and graduating with her High School Diploma. She entered into the workforce and was most recently working at Mataga of Stockton. Gina always had a lively personality, was very involved with her family, and enjoyed social settings. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend.

Kayleen was scheduled to start Kindergarten this fall. Everyone who’ve had the pleasure of being around her could attest that she had the biggest personality for a little 5 year old girl.  She was already so intelligent and had such a bright future ahead of her. She loved animals, especially horses and dogs. Kayleen was a loving daughter, niece and granddaughter.

Please commemorate their life in your memories of them and please respect our family during this time of mourning.

Additionally, if you have any leads on the gunman or tips you can provide, I urge you to help bring  them justice. They were taken from our family far too soon! #JusticeForJGK
