Our UNDEFEATED Montgomery Little League All Star Boys just beat Putnam Valley 21-0 and became the first Montgomery BASEBALL Little League team to compete in the State tournament. They will begin competition on Wednesday after earning a first round bye in this double elimination tournament.
The State tournament will take place in Rochester, NY and will go throughout the weekend. This is where our community comes into play. Expenses for the trip and accomodations for our players go above and beyond the standard little league annual budget. That is why we have started this GO FUND ME page! Our goal is to raise $10,000 by this Tuesday as our Montgomery boys represent the entire Hudson Valley this week in the State Tournament!!!!
In order to accomplish this task we will be relying on hundreds of small donations. Whatever you are able to afford. I have personally committed to a $50 donation. Montgomery Mayor Steve Brescia has committed to $200 and Maybrook VFW has been gracious enough to donate $250! Now we need your help and to encourage your friends, family and social networks to donate. It is important to SHARE this link on your facebook page when you donate.
