Mongol Rally 2018 -

In the summer - our now team of three - will be driving the near 13000 miles across two continents as part of the Mongol Rally - a two month gruelling trip across some of the most dangerous and badly maintained roads in the world. £500 will go towards the organiser’s chosen charity – Cool Earth – while any additional funds raised, with a minimum of £500 will be donated to WorldWide Cancer Research.
Cancer affects us all, at some point in our lives we will have to deal with the loss of a family member or friend to this evil disease. To commemorate the 20 year anniversary of losing their mother, my Dad and Uncle both ran the London Marathon in 2017 and so to do my bit I will be going (literally) the extra miles in the hope of one day eradicating Cancer and putting a stop to anyone having to deal with the premature loss of a loved one.
If you can spare anything, the four of us would be hugely appreciative and hope that our undertaking of this challenge will raise both money and awareness to the huge impact Cancer has had on all of our lives.
The trip will take us through over 20 countries, across two continents and take up to two months to complete in some of the most dangerous but beautiful parts of the world. We will be traversing multiple deserts, towns and cities, mountain ranges and vast plains - all in a rusty Citroen from 1973.
