Share this video with your child to teach them about what refugee families are going through. This fundraiser is to benefit refugees families who are resettling in Jersey City.
Mommies Heart to Heart is supporting Church World Service (CWS)Jersey City, which has 23 refugees currently scheduled for arrival over the next 10 days – this is in contrast to the usual pace of one family per month. Therefore, CWS and The Building Blocks NJ are working furiously to find housing, furniture, groceries, etc. to help them settle in.
CWS needs funding now more than ever. Federal funds are being cut, and even after this wave of arrivals, CWS will need to continue providing them services. Please consider donating to this important cause. 80% of the funds will go to CWS & The Building Blocks NJ and 20% to MH2H.
Mommies Heart to Heart also invites you to involve your kids by making a card to welcome the refugee families. Kindly mail them to:
