A Daughter's Cry for Help

Five years ago my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had always taken care of herself, ate right, exercised, and when she received this news, she at first thought she could treat it holistically. But, after being told that not only did she have breast cancer, it had metastasized to her hips and bones, she felt she had no option but to go the conventional way her oncologist wanted; with chemotherapy and radiation and surgery. Her prognosis seemed grim, but she fought every step of the way.
She suffered through a mastectomy, a hysterectomy, radiation that burned her skin and left her with an open oozing wound for months. She lost her hair, she lost weight, she lost her vitality, but never once considered giving up. Now, five years later, after going through countless rounds of chemotherapy, nausea, vomiting, weakness, constipation, her doctor finally told her she has basically a few months left, and that is WITH chemotherapy; conventional therapy had no more to offer.
Now, she would like to go holistic and instead of being TREATED for cancer, she wants to be CURED. We found a clinic in Sedona, Arizona that offers the exact nutritional support and therapy that she has always believed in. This clinic cannot CLAIM to cure cancer or any disease, because of FDA regulations in the United States, but they do offer a program to strengthen your own body's defenses, so that it can heal itself. There is a clinic in Mexico that offers this program also, but that is not realistic for us. The fact that one is here in the United States is a true blessing.
My mother worked years as a Supervisor at the Springfield Police Department, then became an at-home medical editor, so that she could home school me. We've never had much money, she has done the best she can. I finished my homeschooling program, signed up for the EMT program, and I now work with EMS. I can help save other people's lives, but I can't save my mother's life without your help.
Because of the advanced stage of her disease, the Sedona Wellness Retreat offers an intensive 3 month program that will enable her to actually live on site. It is not a hospital or assisted living facility though. My mother, although in constant pain, can walk and do for herself (I have to make her LET me do anything for her, she is a fighter).
The program will not be easy on her, but at this point, rather than simply give up, she is ready to start the REAL battle. And she can do it, I KNOW she can.
The approximate cost of the program is around 40,000.00. After the 3 month period, we will continue the program at home, but we will need the supplements and the ability to keep her supplies stocked up for the two years that the program goes on. That is why I've set my goal at 75,000.00.

Today, we buried my sweet grandmother. My mother and her were very close, and we both wish Grandma was here to help us both through this, it's terrifying and it's easy to feel lost. But, I know my grandmother's love shines down on us, and the love of our friends shines on us, and we will make it through this trial.
I thank each and every one of you who have helped and contributed already, with the 3 hour trips to her chemotherapy treatments, picking up medications, checking in on her while I am at work, and who have helped in so many other ways. With all my heart, I thank you. And with all my heart, please, help me take her to Sedona and heal the way she intended to all along. She is and always will be my very best friend.
