Mo (the cat burglar) ...and his $7k new leg!

Mo is New Zealand's most famous real life cat burglar - hes a lovely sweet little chap and is a much loved part of our household, but is also very mischievous character, and many of you will know him for his clothes stealing antics...taking underwear, pants and clothing from our neighbors washing lines!

Sadly, Mo's bra stealing days have come to an ubrupt halt, after being hit by a car the other day, badly shattering his humerus (upper back leg)... in many places.
The severity of his injuries has left us with one or three options - 1) to get a specialist surgeon to operate on him to try and save his leg, 2) to amputate the leg entirely, 3)......"not an option".
We are reaching out to friends and whanau across the world to help get Mo the cat burglar... back on his mischievous feet!!
Mo obviously has pet insurance, however, it only covers a small fraction of the cost of such a specialist and detailed surgery - with veterinary bills being very expensive here in NZ. The total cost for everything is expected to be nearly $10k .

ANY contribution for Mo and his new leg would be greatly, greatly appreciated...and he has a 90% chance of a full recovery ...he is only 6 years old, and has a good 10+ years of underwear stealing in him yet!!!

Mo is having surgery over the weekend and will hopefully be able to return to his home in under a week ...If he gets the support, we will start a dedicated Facebook page for him and send you regular updates of his recovery - and of course, his eventual return to his hauls of clothes and pants, from across Auckland!
