Salem Baptist Church Rebuilding

On the night of October 31, 2015, someone set fire to Salem Baptist Church in my hometown of Ashland, WI. It was 70% engulfed by the time the fire department arrived and the stucture is a total loss. This site is accepting donations to send to the congregation to rebuild as they continue to spread the work of God's love to all.
Today, the congregation and community united outside of the smoldering remains to offer up prayers of thanksgiving, including for the arsonist. No lives were lost in the blaze and the cross that STILL STANDS at the site was saved by the power of God, thru the will of his faithful.
While hearts are indeed heavy struggling to understand this senseless act, one can feel the powerful bond of the members of this church as well as the community members, near and far, who have reached out in support and love to everyone touched by this event.
As was posted on the church Facebook page (in summary)... "Tonight we've suffured a significant loss but not an insurmountable one. The church didn't burn tonight, our building did. The church is alive and well because the church is you. The Enemy is defeated - he was defeated at the cross."
