We are raising money to fund Sacred Mountain Sanctuary, a non-profit educational nature sanctuary, dedicated to creating a space for children to explore, connect, and discover how to be loving stewards of our planet. This sanctuary is filled with rolling hills, forest, gardens, animals, creeks, and mountain peaks. Sacred Mountain Sanctuary serves many children, through summer camps, after school programs, rites of passage programs for teenagers, and a homeschool co-operative. This sanctuary needs help creating facilities, trails, and a playground in order to serve these children and expand to include visiting public schools and other outreach programs.
Please contribute to our fundraiser for $20,000 in order to support a three-part project:
1. Build a large, multipurpose pavilion to serve as a gathering space and outdoor classroom
2. Develop nature trails for exploration and learning
3. Build a natural playground for safe and interactive play.
WHO WE ARE:
We are a group of men and women who are part of a leadership development program called called Gratitude Training (www.gratitudetraining.com). In this part of the training, we get to come together to create a Legacy Project greater than we are, that will impact a non-profit community of our choice for a long time to come. As leaders and visionaries, we are committed to creating a world that is a united, peaceful, abundant, and loving community.
By offering this service project to Sacred Mt. Sanctuary, we will help provide facilities, nature trails, and a natural playground that invite children to have connective and expansive experiences in nature and will teach them how to be loving stewards of the planet and the environment.
WHEN:
This project will start and be completed the weekend of July 15 – 17th! Your generous and thoughtful donations are needed as soon as possible to get the necessary supplies and equipment to make this happen! Any amount is welcomed and very much appreciated!!
