Primus' Emergency Call
The majority of people know me as Nyx, as that has been my nickname for a good something ten years online. Pretty sure I'd answer that in real life at some point.
More people as of late know me as Primus/Prophet from the Tumblr url of the-lord-of-light .
Currently I'm in deep financial trouble at the moment. A convention my roomate and myself went to last year did not do very well at all. We barely covered our hotel cost by the last day. And to make matters worse, the week prior and the week after of the convention, my work decided to only give me 5 hours instead of the 20-25 they usually had. This put a massive strain on our mental state as well as completely draining anything we had in our bank accounts.
On top of it all, the bare moment we made it back, my roomate's car had a cascad of failures. That took $200 we needed for rent and our electricity/gas bill for the month just to get it repaired. And even worse was she needed her car to do her job since I lack one. So we lost even more than that.
Currently we're owing $350 towards our rent, which is going to top at $600 because we're already late on that.
Our electricty/gas bill is backlogged and we owe $400 at that just so they don't shut that off on us. We're barely managed to get some money together to give the company something just so we can try and survive in one regard a bit more.
Our goal is $1500 to cover the rent, the electricity, to give GoFundMe their donation for allowing us to use their website, and to get enough of a jump start on next month as well as have the funds for the donation reward levels.
As I typed this, we had just been delivered our final notice for our rent. We have less than 30 days to get the total $600 paid off. Below is, pardon the bad quailtity, our actual notice.
The electricity/gass bill may need to be paid, in part or full, before the 20th of this month.
Normally I'd never show such things off, but such is our dire moment. All important information has been blocked, though you can quite see these are real items of note.
It means the world to my roomate and myself to get this paid off so we don't have this stress on our backs. We really don't want to give up our home because things went out of our control. I literally can not ask for more work at my job and my roomate is dependent on calling people and people be willing to make appointments with her.
If you can help at all, please donate so we don't get evicted and have this pain on our backs.
