In Loving Memory Avelina Camargo

Avelina's loving heart wasn't limited to her many devoted friends and family members. She also loved animals, and they loved her back. In addition to working as an elder care aide, Avelina also provided loving care to animals at a Las Vegas veterinary clinic. Her faithful chihuahua, Chico, refused to leave her side when fire raced through her apartment, and he perished along with his beloved Avelina. In addition to defraying some of Avelina's final expenses, contributions will be used for Chico's cremation, and the family has committed to donating funds to several animal rescue charities, as well as her church, to honor her memory.
