Misterman Tour to Ireland

THE GOAL:Take Misterman on an international tour through Ireland and Northern Ireland.

We created this play in Pagosa Springs, CO with the generous help of the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts in 2014.   Now with the help of friends, family, and fellow artists, this 1 hour and 22 minute marathon of a performance is going home to Ireland!

This show asks audiences to examine mental illness through the eyes of Thomas Magill, the young man who is experiencing it.

Q: Who is behind this?

A: Resolve Productions / Reign or Shine Productions

Q: Tell Me More...

A: We are a creative team of actors and designers with a lot of success and talent between us.  The core members of this production team are MFA graduates of the prestigious Rutgers University Theatre Conservatory.

Q: Why Misterman?

A: We chose this play because it is socially relevant, and provided some fun and significant artistic challenges.  Frankly we felt like the heart of the story had yet to be shared with audiences. We felt strongly that we could help sharpen this tale and create an intense, impressive experience for viewers. So off we went!

Q: How were the first runs?

A: The first runs of this show were wildly successful! More importantly, they touched the hearts and minds of those who saw the show. 

Q: Why do it again?

A: Why not?! We were given the opportunity to bring the show to Europe and we had to say YES!  Of course, now we are working to raise the money and make it happen. 

Q: Why Ireland? Will this show ever be in NYC?

A: This is an Irish play and it has strong interest from theatres in Ireland and Northern Ireland.  We hope to go back with this show again in the future, on a full guarantee. We also hope to tour the show in the USA. Both of these goals will be much more achieveable after taking the show abroad.
