Miss Mauldin/Handicap Accessible

Donation protected
Hello my name is Nila Morton and I have the honor to be Miss Mauldin Teen USA. This opportunity is a blessing because I will be making history because I will be the first disabled wheelchair person to compete in this type of pageant. I have a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy called Ullrich and I am the only person in South Carolina to have this and 96th in the world to have this type of Muscular Dystrophy. I am in need of donations to help me to be able to compete in the Miss South Carolina Teen USA Pageant. My heart's desire is to be able to make a change in the way society sees beauty and to show the world that beauty comes in all shapes and forms, but mines happens to be a disability and that doesn't stop me from feeling beautiful. Also with these donations I am hoping to raise enough money to help get a handicap accessible minivan that I desperately need for day to day transportation as well as to get to the pageant in North Charleston. We have reached out to the Special Needs and Disability Board to help us with the van situation as well as State Senators and State Representatives and to no avail have we had any help. With your kind giving’s and blessings towards me it will help me to make my dreams come true. To be on that stage showing the world that I have been through a lot in my life from my disease but here I am stronger than ever making history and making a statement that my wheelchair doesn't define who I am.
Thank you all in advance for your donations and may God bless you all for your kindness! You can see my news interview here by clicking the following link. http://wspa.com/?s=nila+morton
