Mi nombre es Paula Pilar Miranda Nevé, tengo 27 años y soy chilena. Nací en la ciudad Viña del Mar y estudié en el Colegio de los Sagrados Corazones de Valparaíso toda mi infancia y adolescencia.
El año 2008 entré a la Universidad a estudiar Educación Básica; un año después me cambié a Educación Física, ya que el deporte fue siempre parte de mi vida (seleccionada en gimnasia artística, vóleibol, atletismo y scout).
Cuando comenzaba a cursar segundo año de Educación Física en Marzo de 2011 tuve un accidente automovilístico que cambió mi condición física dejándome con una tetraplejia. Luego de un año de hospitalizaciones y rehabilitación regresé a casa para continuar con mi vida cotidiana.
Es así como comencé a estudiar en la Universidad nuevamente, optando por la carrera de Psicología.
Luego de tres años de ocurrido el accidente me reencontré con Mauricio Torres, con quien comenzamos una relación que nos llevó a comprometernos en la Navidad del 2014 y casarnos con fecha 26 de Septiembre de 2015.
Actualmente, nos encontramos terminando nuestros estudios universitarios y participo en un equipo de rugby adaptado.
Requiero de su ayuda, ya que fui invitada a participar en el Miss Wheelchair World 2017 que se realizara en Polonia a fines de septiembre. Y no tengo los medios económicos para poder participar y realmente deseo ir.

My name is Paula Pilar Miranda Nevé, I am 27 years old and I am Chilean. I was born in the city Viña del Mar and I studied in the College of the Sacred Hearts of Valparaiso all my childhood and adolescence.
In 2008 I entered the University to study Basic Education; A year later I changed to Physical Education, since the sport was always part of my life (selected in artistic gymnastics, volleyball, athletics and scout).
When I began to study second year of Physical Education in March of 2011 I had an automobile accident that changed my physical condition leaving me with a quadriplegia. After a year of hospitalizations and rehabilitation, I returned home to continue my daily life.
This is how I started to study at the University again, opting for a Psychology degree.
After three years of the accident I met again with Mauricio Torres, with whom we began a relationship that led us to commit ourselves to the Christmas of 2014 and get married on September 26, 2015.
Currently, we are finishing our university studies and participate in an adapted rugby team.
I ask for your help, as I was invited to participate in the Miss Wheelchair World 2017 in Poland in late September. And I do not have the financial means to participate and I really want to go.
