My name is Nathaly Rodriguez and I am ecstatic to announce that I have been selected as an official state finalist in the 2017 Miss New York USA pageant. I am extremely grateful and humbled for this once in a lifetime opportunity as it may lead me to be crowned as the next Miss New York USA!
If I receive the opportunity of being crowned Miss New York USA I will be representing my New York community, on the nationally televised Miss USA pageant aired on Fox television. I will be making appearances throughout our state, helping the community, local businesses, and charitable organizations. This amazing opportunity will open so many doors for me that I have always dreamed of and honestly never thought I could ever accomplish.
Growing up in poverty and living in one of toughest cities in the nation, it was very hard for me to believe that I can become someone capable of greatness. I have been faced with so many challenges in my life such as depression, struggling with my education due to my learning disabilities, a victim of domestic violence, bullying, homelessness and sexual assault.
I want to share my heart with everyone and tell my story as an example that YES, you can be a woman from the Bronx that has been through tremendous ordeals yet overcome every obstacle and become all that your heart desires and fulfill your wildest dreams!
I want to support and empower all women that no matter where you are from, no matter your background, no matter your story nor your ethnicity, YOU can be strong, courageous and confidently beautiful! YOU CAN conquer the WORLD!
One of my biggest accomplishments is becoming a MAC Cosmetics Makeup artist at one of the biggest and most popular locations in the world. I am so proud to say that through my love for people and my artistry I make all kinds of people ( MACS motto: All ages, all races all sexes ) feel confidently beautiful on a daily basis. It is the most amazing and fulfilling feeling to know that I am able to make such a positive impact on someone’s life. Not only has MAC Cosmetics allowed me to make a difference in peoples lives by building self-esteem and confidence. I am also proud to be a part of a greater cause, their amazing charity program called VIVA GLAM which supports people living with HIV and AIDS. Every cent raised goes into Funding direct care, Educational programs, and prevention for this specific community. I always want to make a difference some way some how through my passion.
I am hoping to receive everyone’s love and support regardless of how big or how small you might think it is. Your support in any form is greatly wanted, needed and appreciated! Deadline is approaching very soon for this! In order to move further in this process by January 15th I need to raise $1495.00 to help cover the costs of the pageant weekend, such as my hotel room, meals for three days, productions costs ect. Additional money raised will support in much needed necessities such as my wardrobe, professional coaching, physical fitness training, miscellaneous items needed for the pageant and much more. I hope everyone can see just how important this pageant means to me. I am an Official State Finalist in the most prestigious pageant system in the world! MISS USA MISS TEEN USA MISS UNIVERSE!
