MISS MYRTLE medical & mobility
Donation protected
Miss Myrtle was born with her back legs deformed. She was going to be put down. But then her moms owner noticed her strength and her determination to thrive. I was asked if I would adopt her and of course I couldn't say no. Look at her super sweet face. I made the 28 hr drive to get her. She is 3 weeks old today & has taken to pan feeding.
Miss Myrtle is very curious about everything and seems to not know she has a disability. She loves to have her tummy & neck rubbed. She is a great little snuggle bug. She just melts my heart. I want to give her the very best. I am not a person that ask for money I'm the person that donates my time and money. So this is very hard for me to do. This was suggested to me that it would help relieve the stress of her care. One less thing to worry so much about. Miss Myrtle is getting tests to see what is the best course of treatment. Myrtle's treatment will be at the University of Georgia veterinary hospital. They have the very best Doctors and have been working on her case since she was 3 days old. She will need physical therapy, and possibly surgery, a special wheelchair /cart, and many many doctors appointments. The goal for this campaign is what is an approximate of what her team of doctors have given.
About me her mom Jami. I volunteer my time rescuing pigs and other animals. It includes driving to potential adopters and doing home inspections. I help provide knowledge of pigs to potential adopters, building shelters and enrichment toys. Helping with finding forever homes and rescuing. I am very passionate about pigs and the happiness they provide. They are so intelligent, & feelings like us humans. Pigs understanding joy, pain and loss. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give. Thank you in advance Miss Myrtle & her mom (Jami)
