On Friday July 15, 2016 news broke that the world lost an incredible human being. Erik was a musician, husband, and a friend of many. My husband and I first met Erik and his wife Denise in October of 2014. They were flying to Florida to play two acoustic shows, one of them being a show where my husband performed with him. We were amazed by how loving they were to us and everybody else around us. Never have we met people as kind and humble as them.

We were lucky enough to meet them again in March 2016, this time they brought the band with them. Erik invited my husband's band to play on the lineup, as well. As soon as we saw Erik, he congratulated us for just getting married and dedicated "Nomads Revolt" to us during their set.

Erik touched our lives in a way nobody else has, and when we heard the devastating news, we knew that we had to do something to help. So we created this gofundme and got in touch with some of Erik's close friends to help manage the fundraiser.
Erik is no longer with us in sight, but he'll live forever in his music and our memories.
