Mirror, Mirrors? Film Festival Fund

Donation protected
Hi my name is Kaycie Santiago and I am a quirky, inquisitive, and sassy girl from New York City. I recently graduated from Preston High School and I will be attending Fordham University in the fall.

I have a great passion for historical research and inquiry. This passion, which I have channeled for the past four years, has culminated into the creation of my documentary entitled, Mirror, Mirrors? The Past and Present of Preston High School. As the writer and director of this project, Mirror, Mirrors? provides a wonderful and effective outlet for a greater audience to learn more about the history of my alma mater and what it means to me. I am proud to say that I was able to discuss my project for News 12 the Bronx's "Best of the Bronx" segment and I hope that I can continue to promote my project even more.

I have spent hundreds of hours working to perfect and refine my documentary to the point where the editing room has become my second home. The fees that I would need to pay to showcase my documentary by entering it into several nationwide and international film festivals, although seemingly small, will quickly accumulate to provide a great burden on myself and my family. Although I have created this documentary without any funding or budget for my production, I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me with the funding that is needed for me to take my project to the next level. Thank you so much.

The funding for this campaign is going directly to my mother, Yuen Wong, who will assist me in paying for these expenses.
