Mirfield Half Monty....Ladies only
Donation protected
Inspired by the recent celebrity documentary ‘The Full Monty’ where female celebrities came together to raise awareness of breast cancer by performing a ‘bare all’ dance routine to a live audience, local Mirfield ladies Debs Holroyd and Tania Asquith decided to organise their own event!
A message was put out to friends on social media asking if anyone would like to join them and soon the dancers, venue, choreographer and dates had been sorted.
The interest was so great it was decided to do not just one show but two!
Most of the ladies involved have been affected by cancer personally through family, friends or by having cancer themselves.
According to statistics from Yorkshire Cancer Research 575 people are diagnosed with cancer every week in Yorkshire with Yorkshire people more likely to get cancer and die from it than any other counties in England.
All money raised from these events will be shared between local cancer charities.
Please give what you can by donating on this page.
Tickets for the two evening events will be announced on Mirfield Half Monty..... ladies only Facebook page.
Thank you
