Hello all,
My name is Morgan Bobrow-Williams and I am 19 years old and currently residing in New York City. I am a dancer in my second year in the Marymount Manhattan Dance Program.
Recently I auditioned and was accepted to Movement Invention Project (MIP) an amazing three week summer dance program held in NYC. This program, which is heavily based in improvisational techniques, will give me the tools and provide the platform I need to further develop myself as a dancer and choreographer. I will also have the opportunity to work with notable professional choreographers/dancers.
The total tuition for the program is $2150. The program does not include housing so I will have to continue to pay to live in the city during that time. I did receive some scholarship money from the program ($500) however I am still in need of some financial assistance which is why I started this gofundme account.
My family is supporting me in college, and preparing to support my sister as she starts college next fall. So any amount that you are able to give will be greatly appreciated by me and my family.
