UPDATE FRIDAY: We are almost halfway to our goal! The Fowlke family has expressed deep gratitude to all those who have donated, especially since it is soo close to Christmas. Funds will go directly to funeral costs and then to Shane and the kids for whatever they may need this season.

Mindy Fowlke devoted and passionate follower of Christ, wife and mother to six beautiful children, and loving sister and friend left this earth and returned home earlier than expected Wednesday.
Mindy suffered from an acute case of post partum psychosis that began with the birth of her 5th baby, now 4 year old daughter. It became increasingly worse with her last baby who is now turning 2 this month. Mindy did everything she could to heal. All that could be done was done to support her. Unfortunately, this devastating and very real illness claimed her life yesterday leaving us all heartbroken and aching for all who have been blessed to know and love her.
Her amazing and devoted husband,Shane, who has always been by her side and their 6 Beautiful children need our help and support!

"I feel like I need to post this. I know many of you have questions about Mindy, “How could she leave her sweet children?" "Why couldn't this have been prevented?" and so many more. Mindy loved her family as much as any wife and mother has ever loved. She loves her precious children and she was an amazing mother and wife. All I know is that postpartum psychosis is very real. She struggled with it after the birth of her sweet 4 year old, and it escalated after the birth of her little girl who will turn 2 this month. It has caused so much pain and worry about her these past few years. We have tried so hard to help her. We hope that she can finally find peace and knows that we love her more than words can ever, ever say.”
