Peace Project

We are teachers from Herbert Mills STEM Elementary school. This spring, we will be implementing a peace project, where students will use the design cycle to create a stepping stone. The stones will be unique to each student, and they will be showcased around our community garden in the back of our building. This project is a way to discuss peace around the world, peace within our building, and peace within ourselves. It enables the students an opportunity to think of peace in different ways and express themselves freely. The donations would be used to pay for the supplies for the project, including the stones, paint, markers, and wood for an accompanying sign. If we exceed the $300, the remaining money will be kept and used toward future projects school wide! We greatly appreciate anyone who is willing to donate money to our project, and we are hopeful you will come visit our school and see the stones for yourselves!
