Help Fund Mike's Cancer Journey

Donation protected
First and foremost, we want to say how much we love and appreciate Mike.

Golf N Gator wouldn't be as beautiful without the time and effort that he puts into every moment of his work. Over the years, he has become a crucial part of our team. Without him maintaining the courses and the landscaping, Golf N Gator just wouldn't be the same.

Recently,  has had an incredible struggle in his cancer journey and it's time for us to do our best to alleviate some of the medical expenses that are accruing for he and his family.

There's a treatment center in Tijuana.
This trip could save his life.

Preacher, Father, Husband, and Friend.
Mike, you have our support.

His wife, Sandy, who has has known for 43 years, was kind enough to share his story with us and what his plans are to beat  this cancer diagnosis.

"Mike was born in New Jersey from parents of Italian and Polish descent.  On his father's Polish side, his bloodline has been noted as Polish Royalty with a Wilk castle in Poland.  On his mother's Italian side, he inherited the quench for Italian food of almost every dish known.

Mike's parents moved out of New Jersey and to Gaithersburg, Maryland where his father worked as a nuclear engineer for most of his career.  They lived in a neighborhood where he grew up with a lot of friends and he spent a great deal of time playing mostly outside with those friends.  He started working when he was about 12 for a pet store which he could walk to.

At around the same time this is where he met Sandy at the local mall which had an ice rink.  More about that later.

His working career had taken him
on many adventures.  From working retail at the pet store to working at Montgomery Wards to NUS as a graphic artist.  He attended University of Maryland where he studied to be an architect.  He found this not to be what he wanted to ultimately do and so he switched gears to graphic arts.  Later on, he went to preaching school at East School of Preaching where he studied for two years.  He graduated from there and went on to preach at various Church of Christ congregations in several states.

His career took a turn and he changed gears again, this time as a manager at
a Dollar General in Missouri.  The hours were long and the pay was not worthy so he decided to go in a more positive direction.  This is when he became gainfully employed with FEMA.  He also found a part-time position as a school driver.  He
enjoyed both of these positions until one day he got an email from Sandy who contacted him after about 30 years of no contact.

Prior to his preaching career, Mike became a father to a wonderful daughter who is now grown and has a family of her own.    During his preaching career, he fathered two more daughters who are also now grown, one has a family and the other is embarking on a career as a counselor to young women in a rehabilitation situation.

At the time Sandy contacted Mike, he had been praying for a change in his
life.  His living situation was not good.  H
e was living in a basement apartment that he found was filled with black mold.  He worked relentlessly to rid the place, but just could not get rid of it.  Since Sandy was living in Florida, where it was warm, and he didn't like the cold, it was obvious to move where the climate was more suitable for him.  Unbeknownst to him at the time, he later realized this is more than likely where his tumor began.

On a side note, Mike and Sandy married in 2009 after being apart for 30 years and have been together ever since!

Mike was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in 2010.  His oncologist told him if he did not get surgery, chemotherapy and radiation he would die
within months.  As a preacher, he watched many people die of this treatment and he did not want that for himself.

Mike began to change his diet and his way of eating.  With the help of his wife Sandy, who already had familiarity of alternative ways of cancer prevention and treatment, they embarked on eating as much organic, whole foods as possible.  This, coupled with herbal supplementation he was able to keep the cancer to a slow growth.  Then, in November/December of 2017, he contracted a cold which lingered for several weeks.  His immune system was broken a
nd the cancer took off.

Since then, the tumor began to grow again and took a bad turn.  Mike has been in pain 24/7 and he sleeps very little.  He was given a series of CD's by Ali entitled The Truth about Cancer.  This is where he learned about the Hoxsey Biomedical Center in Tijuana.  He decided he wanted to be treated by them over and above the other alternative treatments currently being offered.

The Center performs an extensive diagnosis of the person through various testing and then formulates the treatment from there.  They provide B17 laetrile which the FDA banned in the USA.  This treatment has been found to be very successful in killing cancer cells.  The visit takes up to a week and is very costly. "

Both Mike and his wife Sandy are scheduled to travel to the Center for the second week in June 2018.
