My name is Lisa.  I have been diagnosed with anaphylaxis to latex, and seisure disorder requiring the use of a service dog both inside and outside my home.  I've had my service dog Michyah for 14 years.  In that time, she's made it possible for me to regain my independence allowing me to leave the safety of my home, and have a more normal life.  In her career, she quite literally saved my life 7 times.  She has been my right arm.  Unfortunately, we have come to the end of our journey.  Michyah has suffered several strokes that have  left her unable to get around without assistance and blind in her right eye.  This is where the need for assistance comes.  I am on Social Security Disability with  limited income and a tight budget. Outside of her regular needs, I'm unable to afford the end of life cost for Michyah, plus expenses for a new service dog.
