Michel Family Emergency
I am asking for any kind of help that you can offer. They both work very hard for the small amount of money they have, my niece just had her 6th birthday on New Years Eve and they were going to be leaving for her birthday party after their naps. This has devastated them and their financial situation and they need help. My parents and my family are doing as much as we can from 1,500 miles away but we can only do so much. Your help would mean the world and then some to all of us. We are trying to get them relief as soon as possible. This storm has only just started and they may not have a single thing if the hill behind them slides out.
Thank you for reading and helping if you can.
I apologize for not updating lately. There hasn't been much to update anyone with since the event. Just going through the motions to get Kelsey, Tyler and Taylee into a place of their own and trying to get their belongings from the house.
This will likely be the last update from me.
Your amazing kindness and donations have helped the Michel's so much that they will be moving to Colorado at the end of this month. Tyler has requested a transfer with his job and they will have a place of their own. They have been staying with his grandmother due to being unable to find a place after their temporary home was sold (thank you again for that opportunity!)
We ALL (Michel, Webb and Stewart families) appreciate the support that has been shown and given.
Kelsey and Tyler were able to get out the house one last time before it gets torn down to get anything that was salvageable (which wasn't much). There has been a lot more damage with all the rain that the coast has gotten.
Again, thank you all for your support, love, kind words and donations (financial, clothing and necessities). We can't wait to have them out here in CO closer to us and help them start the next chapter.
An update on the house; their landlord went out and it was determined the house is a total loss. He was able to remove the tree and found that it was not just one with 3 growing from it, it knocked down 2 more when it came down, totaling 5. They will be able to get inside to get their stuff at some point, once they figure out a way to stabilize the structure enough.
Thank you again for your continued support.
Please continue to share and ask friends to share. Thanks and love to all!
I am so glad you are all Ok! If I was able to donate, I would. Sending love to you and your family Kelsey
Leave out food for Zoey in a familiar place and do it every day. Hopefully that will help.

I have clothes & toys for the 6 year old girl. I may also have clothes for the parents depending on their size. Do they need food? How can I get items to the family? Also, you may want to consider setting up a local bank acct so the local, cash only, people can donate too. Please let me know how I can help.
