Michael Viruet aka Mike Morgan Jr
Michael - He has facial fractures including his nose being broken from hitting his head on the windshield. The right leg received the most damage from the accident. The picture below shows the vehichle after it was recovered by the sheriffs. Keep in mind that this car never hit the wall, all of the damage was done from hitting my brothers.
Michael also lost his right leg because of this accident. He is currently in critical condition and is continuing to fight for his life daily. His lungs are continuing to have chronic issues as well as his kidneys. We continue to have faith and hope that he will fight through this just like he fought through everything else in his life. He has the heart of a warrior and the instincts of a leader. We all need Mikey to come through this.
Adrian - He has a cracked skull, had to have brain surgery. He now has 2 8-10 inch scars on his head. He has a 10 inch scar from the fence being impaled through his left arm that went entirely through his arm. Adrian also has a fractured left wrist and a broken right femur. He is currently in a rehab center continuing to have speech and physical therapy.
I also want to post the picture of the person that was driving the vehichle the night of the accident. He is believed to be heading to his native country of Guatemala. If anyone knows this person or knows where he is heading next, please contact the Hudson County Sheriffs office immediately. Justice needs to be served.
I am posting on here to hopefully reach out to a much more larger group of people. We are announcing that American Championship Wrestling will be hosting a show on Saturday February 7th 2015. ACE Pro Wrestling : A Hero's Celebration for my younger brother Michael Viruet Jr. aka Mike Morgan Jr. will take place at the Jose Marti freshmen academy and doors open at 7:00 PM.
Please come out and show your support as we do our best to honor my younger brother in one of the many things he loved most, wrestling. The link to the Facebook event is below.
Thank you all for your support and look forward to seeing you all there.
I wanted to personally thank each and every one of you for donating, sharing, visiting, and attending the funeral of my younger brother Michael Joseph Viruet aka Mike Morgan Jr. It was both and honor and pleasure of seeing some old faces from when I was a kid and meeting some new faces. I can now say that my family has grown tremendously.
I flew in to New Jersey 24 hours after my brothers' accident and arrived not knowing much of what happened. My dad greeted me at the hospital doors with a hug and tears in his eyes bracing me for what I would see behind the curtain. It was my baby brother Mikey laying there helpless and I couldn't do anything about it as his big brother. My brother was in critical condition over a careless act of someone behind the wheel.
Big brother mode quickly hit me and I began to ask questions. I questioned the doctors immediately and once I knew everything that was going on is when dad wanted a family meeting. We discussed the possibilities of Mikey losing his leg and we all felt it on our hearts to notify him before the surgery. Although the doctors wished against that, Mikey had his own plans of hearing what was going on. It was the last time my brother communicated with me and dad.
His famous eye rolling and frustrated nasal flares amused us because it told us he was okay. We began to play a game of guess what I am saying because of the tubes he was unable to speak. We began to read his lips. First thing he asked for was Adrian and Mileen, he wanted to make sure the little ones were okay. He then began to mouth prosthesis. Mikey knew what needed to happen. He signaled at his leg in a motion of cutting and it was a sign that he wanted to get this over with and move on. And then with his frustration building he snatched the paper and pen out of my hand and wrote "ACE 4 Life". Dad laughed but then he knew what Mikey was trying to say, everything they worked on will not be flushed down the toilet just because of an amputation.
ACE 4 Life has now become more than the last thing my brother communicated to us, it now a constant reminder of the heart my brother has. Although he is physically no longer with us, he still lives on by a simple phrase. We will honor his life with that phrase in many ways and it has been amazing to see it already.
After spending almost a month here in New Jersey and spending 3 weeks by my brothers side in hospital I learned so much about him. He was an "old soul" everyone kept saying. I believe them because it took my brother 20yrs to complete Gods mission for him on this planet. He left us with many life lessons, one of them being that time is precious with each other.
He will always be missed and the pain will always be in my heart but I know he has my back from now on. So thank you once again from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you for the continuous support. Keep in mind that ACE 4Life is more than just a hashtag, it's Mikey telling us that he is with us.
Love you all and thank you so very much!
Tuesday the 9th of December @ 5-9pm
He made the ultimate sacrifice anyone can ever make and that was to protect the younger siblings and take most of the impact from the car. Michael Joseph Viruet is not only my hero, but everyones. We will live our lives honoring his by staying positive, giving advice and continuing to teach with life lessons.
From the bottom of my heart as well as the rest of the families hearts, we are truly honored to have such support during these times. We ask that you honor his life in whichever way you would think Mikey would want you to. Sing, laugh, dance, act, film, VLOG or draw; however it is, we hope it is in his honor.
Thank you all once again and the next thing to look forward to is justice.
"ACE 4 Life" Michael Viruet aka Mike Morgan Jr.
