Michael Killian, formerly known as “Krow” died this past Monday (5/8/17) at 1:35pm. Many of you have seen this on Facebook over the past few days. I know some of you still call Michael “Krow”, and that is fine. I only point it out because Michael did come to a point when he felt that “Krow” belonged in the past. In recent years Michael had grown to find his purpose to be “a child of God”.
Michael had been suffering for some time now with Pancreatic Cancer, but like the good soldier (Marine) he was, he was going to tough it out as long as he could.
Up until a couple of weeks ago Michael had been a caregiver, living in a household at Reba Place Fellowship in Evanston and helping an adult man who had MS. For providing these services, Michael received room and board. There was no monetary compensation received. Because of this, Michael’s resources were extremely limited.
Michael did not want to be a burden to anyone in these final times. As I thought about it, it seemed appropriate to establish a GoFundMe page to spread the cost over as wide a base as we could.
Michael had a wealth of friends of whom you are considered. I am hopeful that we can raise whatever God deems necessary to handle the cost of the cremation and arrangements. Anything you are able to give is appreciated.
Services are scheduled for Sunday, May 21st at 4 pm at Reba Place Church in Evanston.
