The last week has been completely surreal. It’s made me stop and realize that as epic as my life has been, I’m not immortal. And the hardest pill I’ve had to swallow is that the next six months of my life are now pause.
On Friday, August 10th, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. When I received the news I was in total shock, almost expecting them to tell me they had made a mistake. The last two days have been a hard adjustment. It’s incredibly tough to put your life on “pause” even for 6 months. Granted I realize that 6 months compared to the rest of my life is going to be a breeze but still it’s something I have to cope with and process.
Please keep me in your prayers, keep my family in your prayers, and my friends who let’s face it are family. We need all the prayers we can get!
Over the next six months I will be documenting and vlogging this incredibly scary adventure. So keep your eyes peeled. This series is going to be very raw and very real.
