On Monday 16th January - all of the soccer balls of the Mitchelton Football Club's Premier League women's team were stolen. All of them.
Might seem insignificant but new balls cost $40 each so over $800 was taken. This has a complete flow on effect for the girls as footballs are then passed onto the other women's teams - now they can't.
To the grubs who took them - hope you know you've affected the lives of a lot of people. Might seem insignificant but for the players and coaches who give up all their time and fundraise - it means a lot.
