Mexico Beach FD Michael Recovery
Donation protected
Mexico Beach, Florida was the epicenter of Hurricane Michael's wrath on October 10, 2018. The Mexico Beach Fire Rescue team was first in after the hurricane to help residents who had not evacuated the town. However, upon their return, Mexico Beach Fire Rescue found their own station had been inundated with over a 9 foot storm surge. All of their equipment was trapped in a layer of mud and sewage which remained after the waters receded.

Mexico Beach Fire Rescue is currently aiding in the rescue and relief efforts for its citizens after the Hurricane. However the department is in need of new protective equipment for its own firefighters. Please help Mexico Beach Fire Rescue by providing donations to replace personal protective gear for its firefighters, including bunker gear, breathing apparatus and protective footwear.
Let's help those who help us.
