Opening a Small Business

My name Julia and I love dogs. I am currently serving in the US Army but will be retiring after more than 22 years of service in September. I have been in the Army since I was 17 and have never done anything else. After looking into various job opportuinities in my degree plan, I have determined that I would rather pursue my passion and working with animals would make me happiest. Caring for, training, and working with animals is my dream. I have volunteered as a foster for the Hawaii Dog Foundation and currently serve as a volunteer at Animal Services of El Paso. I would like to open my own dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility. Being in the military, I see a lot of pets who are given up due to deployments. Providing annual boarding may help reduce those numbers. I would like to continue to help animals and still be able to provide a living for my family. The money I generate will be used to finance a location, rehab it to fulfill the requirements of a dog daycare, and eventually, to purchase a vehicle that will allow my business to drop off and pick up. I would be very grateful for any assistance you can provide that will help me realize my dreams.
