We are a group of students from The Harbour School in Hong Kong! Our organization is called Meraki Giving, which means putting yourself, love and passion into what you do. With the help of private donors and Gofundme we have raised 28,000 USD, and we are getting closer to our goal of 50,000 USD!
The school will not only have an immediate impact on the children at the hospital, but will have a long lasting effect on the community. The school will host evening workshops for parents and will work with dedicated staff to continue to evolve and meet the needs of the people of Eldoret.
The road to completing school is challenging enough, without adding factors such as poverty and illness. This school will provide a safe, positive and encouraging learning environment.
A reminder that 100% of the money donated will go to building materials and resources for the school, which will be managed by Shoe4Africa.
