Drew and Meradith have 4 children. Their 4th child Andrew is going on 6 months old. Born with holes in his heart, Andrew has spent the last 4 months in critical condition in the hospital. Since then his lungs have developed fluid causing trouble with his breathing and his toes developed gangrene from a blood clot.
Recently, he was able to go home for a couple weeks. However, he is now back in the hospital as his blood flow has increasingly become an issue. The doctors suspect Polyarteritis Nodosa. They were flown to Childrens Hospital in Texas last night (10/18/16) and have arrived safely.
As you all can imagine this will be a very expensive transition that the family is not prepared for. Therefore, we are asking family and friends to be moved with compassion. Please, if you can invest financially into this family for the life and health of this sweet baby boy it could literally alter the course of his life. Not only that, but it will relieve a great deal of stress off his parents.
Above all, we are asking prayer warriors to rally around this family as a whole. It is very difficult for a mother to be away from her children, and equally as hard on the father to be away from his beloved wife and son. Please pray for comfort for their three children while their mommy is away from them.
Also, PRAY for Andrews body to be whole and healed completely….heart, lungs, blood flow, feet and hands.
***Update*** Precious Andrew is now in his Abba's arms in Heaven. All donations will go towards his memorial and family. Please continue to pray for their hearts.
