Veteran Family Recovering After Homelessness!
Spende geschützt

I am pleading for Americans to contact their mayor/governor and ask what they are doing about the Veteran Homeless Epidemic. This should be top priority. A lot of the housing crisis has to do with illegals have taken over. While Vets that apply for housing get turned away or put on a 2 year waiting list! This needs to change ASAP!!! We didn’t qualify for any assistance when we were homeless. The system is broken!!!
Thank You for clicking on my Go Fund Me and praying you will Donate to help my Veteran/Autism family recover after homelessness. We have had this fundraiser for awhile now. Are very appreciative of donations we received. At the start we were not homeless and needed help to stay in place we were renting. Landlord didn’t work with us and we were forced to move on short notice. That is how we became homeless on April 5th. After 6 long weeks of being homeless we got into a place to rent on Mother’s Day Weekend.
We are asking for donations to get our household items out of storage. Need money to pay for storage fees and movers. We relocated to Florida from Upper Michigan due to Mental Health problems. Our belongings are in storage in Upper Michigan. We really need your help to get enough money to get our items moved to where we are now living.
Husband is a disabled Veteran who served in the USAF. We have two girls. Isabella is 5 and Alexandra is 9. Our oldest daughter has Autism.
We need some compassionate/caring people to donate and help out our family. Grateful we are no longer homeless. We have been through a lot the last 9 months. God is good though and got us through some really tough trials.
Husband has PTSD and tried to commit suicide in October. This led to a financial downward spiral. Grateful he didn’t become part of the statistics of 22/day Veterans die by suicide. We were part of the statistics of Veteran Homeless Epidemic. There isn’t enough help out there. The government statistics says there are 40,000 Vets are homeless in America.
So grateful we have a place to call home. We have contacted VA, Churches, Mayors, Governors, Senators, and other public officials. This crisis needs to be addressed. We need to get more help for our Veterans before Illegals. Please help our family we will pay it forward someday. We have been lobbying for change by contacting public officials. We need more solutions to this growing epidemic. No Veteran in America should be homeless!!!
