The Veteran Alternative Medicine Program (VAMP.vet) and our non-profit collective, Canna-Envy, are working vigorously to offer a loving, helping hand to the communities suffering from these horrific wildfires. Many people in our communities have lost their home. Many animals have been affected and have limited places to go to for safety. People are sleeping on the sides of roads and parking lots, trying to figure out where to go and what to do next. The smoke has affected the breathing of the children and elderly, and many of these same elderly need assistance and relocation. These fires have plagued our communities. Massive amounts of aid and donations are needed.
The people of California are working together to try and help anyway they can, but it is very clear that with this level of loss and devastation, we will need as much assistance as we can get. The fires are still raging with over 100,000 acres burning, and minimal containment of all these fires. The destruction and damages will continue to rise and the people and animals of California need your help!
We are most grateful to Cal Fire and all the other resources that have joined together to try and stop this incredible magnitude of fire. A big thank you to all the local law enforcement authorities as well for helping to evacuate the people of the area, and keeping the thieves out of the evacuation zones. We thank you all for taking the time to read this and of course, any little bit helps to rebuild our community. Thank you!
We understand the losses at hand because we too are victims of the fire. Our property is in Redwood Valley, CA. As far as I can tell, by all the updates and photos, I feel we may no longer have a property to return home to. We have been evacuated since Monday and are doing anything and everything we can to help. With money raised and donations received, we plan to help offer aid to victims of the fire disaster in the form of: Food; Shelter assistance (hotel/motel/etc...); Clothes; Animal Feed; Animal shelter/safety; Travel arrangements to safety zones; Medical Assistance to those in need (humans and animals); Rebuilding our communities.
