Memorial Fund- PTSD Vet-Josh Miller
On December 25th, 2016, Joshua Miller (originally from Haslett, Mi) went missing from his home in Tollhouse, CA. On December 27th his body was found. We had hoped he would be found alive, that maybe he just needed to clear his mind. Our hearts are broken and pieces are missing. This is not the way we wanted to bring him home.
Josh served with the Marines in the War on Iraq during 2000-2004. He saw things and did things no one should ever have to see or do. Eventually the demons he gained during that time hid the true man he was. PTSD took his life from him, his family, his friends and his son. Josh committed suicide on Christmas Day to finally be free from his pain and suffering. Now it is our time to grieve for him. This was so unexpected and not something a parent should ever have to do or anything that could have been planned for. We ask for donations to help our parents with bringing my brothers body back to Michigan to give us all a little more closure and to help assist his young son of 6 years old with whatever he may need in life. I will withdrawal the funds to help with expenses related to bringing him home and his funeral and what ever is remaining will be sent in a check to his son Vincent.
