Memorial Fund for Samuel Titus

Hello friends, family, and acquaintances. I’m creating this go fund me on behalf of my sister, Kimberly Titus, and her two sons Marcelo and Maddox. The purpose of this fund is to raise money for memorial expenses for my sister’s late husband, Samuel Titus.
On October 4th 2018, Sam passed away very suddenly while driving to a hotel. It was confirmed in the autopsy that Sam had coronary artery disease, and went into cardiac arrest.
Kimberly and Sam have spent the past ten years of their lives together raising their son Marcelo. Though Marcelo is not Sam’s biological child, Sam stepped in and took the role of father head on. In October of 2017, Sam and Kim gave birth to their second son, Maddox, and have been raising him in South Ryegate, VT. In July of 2018 they were married and ready to start their happily every after together. Kim stayed home to care for their infant son, Maddox, while Sam worked full time for Washington County Mental Health working with adults in Home Intervention. He was a hard worker with a passion for helping others and a dedicated family man.
Unfortunately the home they were renting was condemned due to various safety hazards (bad wiring, lead in the paint and water, mold), and Kim and Sam were on their way to stay in a hotel as they had to vacate by the 4th of October for their safety. They were given only two weeks time to pack their home and leave. Because of this, Sam and Kim decided to take the step to buy a home. They placed an offer on a beautiful house in Groton that was accepted. However this dream is now on hold.
Due to these tragic recent events my sister is, understandably, struggling. The passing of her husband came in the middle of a large transition for her family that left them uprooted, and now they are trying to piece things together and move forward.
Any little bit helps my sister and her two boys to move forward with their lives. Funds will be used to pay for Sam’s cremation, funeral services, burial plot in his home state of New York, and a small buffer to help Kim and her children get back on their feet.
