Memorial for Darren Anderson

On the night of September 15th, 2018, the world lost a compassionate firefighter and EMT and a loving husband and father. He leaves behind his wife, Michelle, and three beautiful girls, who are left to cope as best they can.
Darren was the main breadwinner in the Anderson family, with Michelle recovering from back surgery, and still unable to return to her photography business. One of their daughters has significant health concerns, requiring a lot of Michelle’s care and attention, making it difficult to run a business day to day.
Three growing girls ranging in age from 9 to 14, will need to be cared for by Michelle, with the post-secondary years looming not far away. This is a very private family, but as their friends, we feel the need to look out for the future of the girls.
All funds raised will be given directly to the family to cope with their immediate needs and longer term expenses. Please give what you can, and even if you can’t give, share this link so that we can reach everyone who is able to assist this family.

Update: I am truly in awe of the love and support sent to the Anderson family over the last few days. They have such amazing people in their lives. Thank you to each and every person who donated, sent messages, and shared the campaign with others. Reviewing the math, I’ve decided to increase our goal.
