Mel's 2017 Cancer Costs

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and owners of two local restaurants (Shipwreck Grill and Amico Nave Ristorante) are giving back to the community! On each Tuesday of the month, a different cancer survivor will be featured at each restaurant, receiving a percentage of the profit from lunch and dinner for that day. Melodee has been chosen as one of only 8 recipients, and her special day is OCTOBER 18.
Mel has been fighting cancer since January, 2015, and is now living with metastatic, stage 4 breast cancer. She has survived chemotherapy twice, has had a bilateral mastectomy and other surgeries, and continues to receive maintenance treatments every three weeks.
As you can probably guess, the medical bills pile up! Our goal is to raise money for next year's insurance deductibles, which will be due at Mel's first treatment of the year, and every dollar counts.
Please come eat at Shipewreck Grill (206 E Villa Maria, Bryan) on Oct. 18th! If you can't come, please consider donating here to help Mel and her family keep on fighting!!! She wants to continue to B.T.H.O cancer for many years to come!
