Medical Funds: Melissa and Matthew

Donation protected

Yesterday while Melissa and her son Matthew were driving their car crashed through a guardrail on the Route 1 viaduct in Bath and fell 30 feet onto the bed of a pickup truck bellow.

Thankfully no one sustained life threatening injuries. However Melissa took the most injuries with a pretty big gash from the top of her left eye to near the ear, there is some swelling/bleeding in the brain, she had a collapsed lung which had to be inflated multiple fractured ribs, bruises among the list of other lesser injuries. Matthew took it a bit better. He has a compression fracture in his spine as well as a small fracture in his skull, he also has swelling in his brain but should go away over time. Both are obviously in pain but both are thankful to be alive.
