Melissa Firestone Memorial Marker
Donation protected
Ann Melissa Firestone was a long time fixture on Atlanta's civic and social scene. An Atlanta native, she was committed and involved in the community as a board member of Fourth Ward West, the APAB representative for NPU-M, as well as a board member for many years. She also served as an advocate for many issues involving senior mobility and causes in her community.
Ms. Firestone passed away on April 10, 2017 and was buried at Lakewood Cemetery in Palmetto, Georgia. This fund is to raise money for a grave marker to remember her and as recognition of her contributions to the neighborhood and the City of Atlanta.
This GoFundMe campaign is being managed by the Fourth Ward West neighborhood association and hopes to be able to install the plaque at her resting place in the fall.
