Melanie Matters to Us

Melanie was diagnosed about 5 years ago with Pulmonary Hypertension, a serious terminal condition where the arteries carrying blood to the lungs constrict and disrupt the blood flow, thus causing eventual breathing problems and heart failure.  She is now in the final stages of this horrible disease, wherein her organs are shutting down, and she will need  hospice care at home.  Melanie and Matt have a beautiful daughter, Mattie, who just turned 8.  Mattie was born at 2lbs with serious medical challenges as well, but is now a healthy little girl.  As one can imagine, they have struggled both financially and emotionally these last several years due to Mel's disability.  Melanie has a wonderful support system of family and friends to surround her.  Any funds raised here would go towards eventual funeral/memorial/burial costs and any remaining funds could go to her daughter and husband.  Melanie has been strong throughout this journey and only worries about her family.  Her faith is truly amazing.     Any donation that you can give, no matter how small, is truly appreciated by her family.  Thank you.
